| Description | Although known for aiming to be the strongest Trainer in the world, this boy no longer cares about strength alone. He's also realized the importance of a kind heart. |
Silver (Japanese: シルバー Silver) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series. He forms a sync pair with Ho-Oh. This sync pair was first made available on April 30, 2020. The pair's potential can be upgraded to
6★ EX from May 19, 2022, which unlocks Silver's EX style. However, unlike most sync pairs, this pair cannot be upgraded with Champion Spirits - only Custom Legendary Spirits from the villain event Rocket Execs Assemble can be used.
Silver also forms a sync pair with his Feraligatr. This pair can be obtained by reaching Friendship Level 100 with Silver in the Trainer Lodge. This pair could be raised to
6★ EX beginning on March 29, 2023, though this pair lacks an EX style.
Silver in his sygna suit forms a sync pair with his Sneasel. This sync pair can be obtained through a limited Poké Fair sync pair scout beginning on June 17, 2023. This pair can be raised to
6★ EX since it first released.
Silver in his Neo Champion attire forms a sync pair with his Shiny Tyranitar, which is capable of Mega Evolving. This pair can be obtained through a Master Fair sync pair scout beginning on March 1, 2024. This pair can be raised to
6★ EX since it first released.

| This section is incomplete. Please feel free to edit this section to add missing information and complete it. Reason: History & Role in Pokémon Masters EX |
History
Silver has experienced similar events to his core series counterpart. While on his journey, Silver stole Totodile as his first partner Pokémon from Professor Elm,[3] and established a rivalry with Ethan. Along his journey, Silver caught a Zubat, Gastly, Magnemite, and Kadabra. In Cianwood City, Silver stole a Sneasel from its original trainer.[4] Silver's Pokémon eventually evolved into their respective evolution, those being Feraligatr, Crobat, Gengar, Magneton, and Alakazam. While in Mahogany Town, Silver challenged Lance, the current Champion of Indigo Plateau, to a battle, but Silver lost.
Ho-Oh
Raising this sync pair to 6★ EX will unlock Song Key 02003, which allows "Battle! (Silver) (Pokémon Masters EX Version)" to be played in the Jukebox.
Availability
Silver could be teamed up with during the legendary event Pure Hearts and Rainbow Wings. Starting December 4, 2021, he can be teamed up with during the Legendary Adventures of the same name.

Trivia
- Silver's rival is Ethan, as his team in the flashback is based on if the player chooses Cyndaquil as their first partner Pokémon, which Ethan has.
- All versions of Silver use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon) and victory with them. Those Trainers include Giovanni, Lance, Ethan, Lyra, and N.
- In his sygna suit's sync pair story, it is implied that Silver stole Sneasel from its original Trainer. Although it was never directly confirmed in the core series games, Silver is shown with a Sneasel after Kirk (known as Mania in Generation II) from Cianwood City says that Silver bullied him into giving up an unnamed Pokémon. This could imply that the unnamed Pokémon that Silver stole from him was indeed Sneasel.
- Not counting single-stage Pokémon, Silver is the only Trainer with a sygna suit whose partner Pokémon is unevolved.
- During Honing One's Love, Silver reveals that he raised his Tyranitar from the Egg he received from Eusine at the end of Chase the Northern Wind.
- Silver is the only Neo Champion to be the only Neo Champion of his region.
- Silver (Champion) & Tyranitar and Geeta & Glimmora are the first Master Fair-exclusive sync pairs to have sync pair-exclusive lucky cookies.
Origin
Silver's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. While Silver does not own a Ho-Oh in the core series games, he does use one in Pokémon Stadium 2. Ho-Oh's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire.
Feraligatr is the final evolution of Totodile, one of the first partner Pokémon of Johto in the core series games. Feraligatr is Silver's signature Pokémon if the player chooses Cyndaquil as their first partner Pokémon in the Johto-based core series games. In addition, Silver's Pokémon Adventures counterpart is depicted with a Feraligatr. Feraligatr's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire.
Sneasel is a Pokémon that Silver uses on his team in the Johto-based core series games. In addition, Sliver's Pokémon Adventures counterpart is depicted with a Sneasel as his first Pokémon, who later evolved into a Weavile. Sneasel's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
Silver is not seen owning a Tyranitar outside this game, though it was introduced in Generation II, as Silver was. In addition, Silver's Pokémon Adventures counterpart temporarily uses Lance's Tyranitar during the manga. Tyranitar's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
