| Description | This Gym Leader from Galar is also a popular model. She grew up playing with Water-type Pokémon thanks to her parents' influence and is good friends with Sonia. |
Nessa (Japanese: ルリナ Rurina) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series games. She forms a sync pair with Drednaw. The sync pair can be obtained through sync pair scout, starting on May 13, 2021. This pair is capable of being upgraded to 
6★ EX from when the pair was first released.
Nessa is also available in her holiday attire partnered alongside Eiscue. The sync pair can be obtained through a limited sync pair scout, and was first available on December 18, 2021. This pair is also capable of being upgraded to 6★ EX from when the pair was first released.

Origin
Nessa's design is based on her appearance in Pokémon Sword and Shield. Drednaw is Nessa's signature Pokémon in the core series games. Drednaw's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Sword.
Nessa does not own an Eiscue outside this game. Ice Face Eiscue's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Shield, and Noice Face Eiscue's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Sword.
