Not exactly true. While Witchcraft itself is considered evil, things like Harry Potter and Pokemon aren't (at least in the Catholic tradition). I believe it was Pope John Paul II (a traditionalist) who said that "[Pokemon] was full of inventive imagination, and has no negative moral side-effects." I'm paraphrasing, but I'd love it if someone found the actual quote.
